Reminisce Block of the Month

I completed month 2 of the Reminisce BOM! This BOM is from Homestead Hearth quilt shop. It's a medallion quilt and each month we'll add a "round." Month two was the flying geese round. Month one was everything inside the geese and is called "Old Fellows Chain."

I haven't been able to do much sewing over the last week. Next week my goal is to dig into one of my "bag o blocks" and sew them into a quilt top.

A little about me...

I've been married to my high school sweetheart for 21 years. He is a Major in the Air Force and we have lived in 13 states or countries in 21 years! We have two children, Meg - 19, and Zach - 16. We have just moved to our new assignment, and for the first time I have my own sewing room.

I've been quilting for about 16 years. I tend to lean towards more traditional patterns with scrappy fabric. More pictures to come....
