It just doesn't seem right to say "Happy" Memorial Day. But I think it is a day to remember and celebrate the brave men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. I would also like to take the opportunity to say how proud I am of my husband, currently serving in Afghanistan. I'm so proud of you, Travis! You are my hero...I can't wait to put my arms around you again....

God Bless.....

  1. Michelle, I am sending a hug your way....I know how hard this must be for you...and yes we are so proud of our servicemen....and women....and brave loved ones left behind.

  2. I, too, am proud of the men and women who have served in years past as well as the ones serving today. The families wait at home and pray also do not have an easy job. (I was a Vietnam I know the feeling.) I hope Travis will be safely home soon!

  3. Remembering all those who are away now, those who went away forever and those who will be home soon.
Hoping you can feel the hug from up here in Canada, Michelle.

  4. remembering the sacrifice those have made for my freedom. Thank you to your Travis for serving currently. God grant him safety & may he soon be back home.

  5. I agree with your comments too Michelle. Tell Travis thank you from all of us too and tell him we're thinking of him and keeping him and all the others in our prayers. I hope the month of June goes fast for you so he's home safe and sound soon!!

Love hearing from my blog friends! I had to disable "Anonymous" comments though. Thanks for stopping by!!
