Step one completed!

Yay me! I finished the first step of the Roll, Roll, Cotton Boll mystery from Quiltville. It's not a great picture because of the flash, the reds look kinda pink.
I'm a happy mommy tonight because Zach is home and that means we'll have both kids home for the Thanksgiving weekend. :) I have much to be thankful for not only on Thanksgiving, but every day. Life is good!

Happy Quilting!

  4. I love surprises and I did consider doing this quilt, I really did, but decided I have enough going right now to join anything new at holiday time. Looking at your stacks of units in progress, it felt like the air had suddenly gone out of the room(!), and I know I made the right choice for me. I'm really eager to see this each step of the way, though -- I do love mystery quilts. You go, girl!
