Farmer's Wife

Are you tired of seeing these? :P I'm loving them...they have been so fun to make! I finished the 3rd installment of the bi-weekly BOM. I've really made a dent in my "blue" stash of fabrics too. I think I'm going to need to pick up a few medium blues, though.

Instead of posting individual pictures, I thought I'd just share a slideshow.

Happy Quilting!

  1. The slide show was a great idea -- your blues all look terrific. I love your festive nod to July 4th in the look of your blog, too! :)

  2. 31 blocks!! Girl, get some sleep!! LOL They are highly addictive, aren't they? I love doing them, and I love yours in the blue colorway. I've got blues to share if you want 'em! Just tell me where to send them:-)

  7. I do love this quilt, I've been thinking lately about ordering the book. I fall in love with it everytime that I see it. Love that you are doing it in blues.

I just ran on to your blog last night and you are very talented. I just can't get over your "Churning Logs" from 2009! Giggle...I've thought about it all night! LOL! I also noticed that it is one that you designed yourself, would you mind if I made one????

    Have a great day!

  8. Not tired of these at all...and the quilt is quite busy, so very interesting. It will be an eye-catcher for sure!

  9. Who could get tired of these? And your control is impressive. This is going to be a stunning quilt.

I am doing it by hand and have taken the truly scrappy route. when I get to the next block, I reach my hand in my scrap bin of coloured fabrics and the first color out is the main color of the block. I am afraid this will look very haphazard when done but in the spirit of the 20's.
