Day 17 -- I'm thankful for the internet and free shipping! Today I practically finished my Christmas shopping! I'm thankful that I won't be driving all over town, looking for parking, and standing in lines. I guess I should also add that I'm thankful for the UPS guy and our local mail carrier. :)

I did a lot of my Christmas shopping online this year, too. Amazon.com seems to be my new best friend.....especially since I became a "Prime" member and get free, 2-day shipping on nearly all the things I've selected! It is nice not to have to fight the crowds, isn't it? More time to spend enjoying decorations and Christmas shows on TV and doing holiday cooking/baking!
What a great feeling. But I admit to loving the atmosphere in some stores at Christmas time. So I love to wander through when I don't need to shop and just soak in the ambience.
